  1. Keith Jackson Said,

I’ve a feeling your book is going to go a long way to helping people to understand eating disorders.
I think you really did the work of our Father when you wrote your book. I pray that it has the impact on people who need it the most….the sufferers. I also pray that it helps those who care for the sufferers to understand something of what those disorders are about.
Sometimes sufferers don’t like information download directed specifically at them. Your book could possibly help the sufferer to gain the information they need without it being threatening to them.

  2. Janet Camilleri Said,

Great book, Chrissy, well done! I could hardly put it down! As an ex-high school Maths teacher and current primary school chaplain, I am networking with the aim of putting a copy into the hands of as many teenage girls as I can. A movie could be powerful too, if it kept closely to your story.

  8. Linda Fossen Said,

I applaud your effort to get the message of hope out to those who find themselves caught up in the vicious cycle of an eating disorder. I am the author of “Out of the Miry Clay: Freedom from Childhood Sexual Abuse” which is my story of being a preacher’s daughter who was sexually abused by my father for ten years. I know first-hand the devastation that an eating disorder can do to a person. I spent twenty years in a vicious cycle of bingeing and purging hoping to somehow overcome the horrible pain left in my heart from the abuse. I would run to food for comfort and then find that it did not erase the self-loathing I felt inside of feeling so damaged and unloveable. This would then cause me to try to purge myself of all the feelings I had of feeling dirty and ashamed. The good news is that I found my freedom and you can too. Whatever has caused you to get involved in the eating disorder in the first place is irrelevant - the answer is the same. There is a way out of the pain and His wonderful name is Jesus!

    God bless you Chrissy!
